Art Tours

Rhea escorted her first Greek Islands Art Tour in September 2005 with local artist, Brian Simmonds. Members of the Tresillian Community Centre, Alfred Cove Society, and Atwell Gallery took their palettes, brushes and lots of blue paint to Greece. Rhea, who is also a keen artist, said the tour was so popular that it was sold out within a month. In 2006, Rhea Barnard and Brian Simmonds escorted an equally popular tour for artists to Italy, enjoying Tuscany, Venice and the Italian Lakes district.

In May 2007, Rhea escorted another Greek Islands tours with watercolour artists, Sandy Robertson and Penny Maddison. Greece is a spectacular destination, especially for artists. Rhea is fluent in Greek, which enabled tour participants to enjoy a true local experience in the fishing village of Naoussa, as well as the popular tourist islands of Mykonos and Santorini.

Quilters Tours

In 2006, Rhea escorted a group of enthusiastic quilters through the Pioneer States of the USA. The Quilters enjoyed a few days in New York and Boston before exploring Lancaster County and New England in Autumn.
