TRAVEL ASSOCIATES AUSTRALIA PTY LTD (TAA) was established by Lance Bracken and Russell Brown in 2000. TAA is about travel consultants who want to work smarter to achieve their personal income goals. TAA offers consultants with their own client portfolio, unlimited income potential and the opportunity to be your own boss. TAA is ideal for consultants with an established client base, niche market, and/or incentive/conference groups market. TAA provides the full support of a regular agency, including GDS services and centralised back-office processing, leaving the consultant free to do what they do best – sell travel.

Control your own Destiny

For the senior consultant working within an agency, the ability to achieve maximum income levels can be constrained by the agency’s own fixed costs. Associates of TAA are given autonomy over their client base, without the stress of time-consuming administration. Many experienced consultants have a great repeat and referral client base and with more time on their hands, their existing client portfolio can prove very profitable.

Reduce Your Overheads

For agency owners who have sufficient business to no longer require walk-in traffic, they can divest themselves of their agencies and join Travel Associates. They thereby save on rent, TCF membership, licensing, audit costs, IT contracts and staffing etc. As Associates, they retain autonomy over their client portfolio while no longer having to manage the administrative side of the agency.

Unlimited Income Potential

There are no establishment or franchise-type fees and Associates are rewarded with a generous remuneration package. All base commission earned (including international and domestic, air and packages, insurance and service fees) will count towards your salary. Superannuation is paid quarterly to your nominated superannuation fund.

Flexibility

Without the interruption of walk-in clients or administrative matters, Associates are free to spend their time more profitably. With mobiles, laptops and today’s technology there is no need to be tied to an office 24/7. Associates are free to enjoy their family, sporting or social interests while still managing their clients’ travel.

TAA provide their associates with:

  • regular reports on their sales and commissions

TAA is a licensed travel agency and is a member of the Travel Compensation Fund, the Travelscene American Express Network, AFTA and the International Cruise Council. All operations are managed within the guidelines of consumer affairs and fair trading legislation.
