Aloha from Hawaii

Having just returned from cruising the Hawaiian islands on Norwegian Cruise Line’s Pride of America, I would recommend this cruise, especially to first time cruisers.  You are in port every day, so you are never far from land and the ship is all about free-style cruising.  There are 14 different restaurants onboard and you can eat when you like and with whom you like – no preassigned table and time and no formal dress required.  The ship departs Honolulu every Saturday and visits Maui, Hilo, Kona and Kauai.  Even if you are seasoned cruisers, this is a great way to see the Hawaiian islands.  In each port you can choose from the many shore excursions offered onboard, or if you prefer to drive yourself around at your leisure we can pre-book hire cars at each port.

The Pride of America has over 600 balcony staterooms and a wide range a family friendly connecting staterooms.  The crew demonstrate the genuine Hawaiian Aloha Spirit – both friendly and helpful.  Onboard entertainment includes theatre revues, poolside parties, comedians, two swimming pools, four hot tubs, kids and teens club, a spa and more.

Travel Associates Australia can package the cruise with flights and pre and post accommodation. The seven night cruise starts from $1349 per person in an inside cabin (based on twin-share departing in October 2012 and includes port charges, taxes and gratuities) Prices are subject to availability and exchange rate fluctuations.

TAA working with Access Abroad

Travel Associates Australia is working with Access Abroad to offer trips to Thailand which offer participants the opportunity to ”give back” to the Thai community by volunteering with Asia’s Hope orphanages and an elephant sanctuary.  This is a great opportunity for travellers to truly experience the local culture and gain an understanding of the difficulties faced by the Hill tribes of Thailand.  More details can be found at www.accessabroad.com.au.
