Day 1

Join your flight to South Africa connecting through to Port Elizabeth Airport.
Upon arrival at Port Elizabeth Airport you will be met by a local representative and transferred to Shamwari
Shamwari Game Reserve - Luxury Room Includes: Breakfast, lunch, dinner, high tea, game drives, guided walks, tea, coffee, water and game drive beverages.
Long Lee Manor is a scene of striking contrasts. This Edwardian Manor was built in 1910 and is pure sophistication in Africa. Terraces, pools, ponds and manicured lawns overlook the wild of the Shamwari Game Reserve, one of South Africa’s premier reserves with the Big 5 and vast plains. French doors of the Manor House open onto the gently sloping river meadows and extended lawns and palm trees dot the outdoor court area. Cuisine is expertly prepared and served in the main dining room or around a flickering fire at the barn. For alfresco dining, there is a river lapa that exudes romance. Between game drives, sprawl poolside, relax in the garden lounge and read or have a rejuvenating spa session.

Today you will depart with your English Speaking Guide along the garden route toward Knysna

Set on the edge of the beautiful Knysna Lagoon located in one of South Africa’s most popular holiday destinations, Knysna, Protea Hotel Knysna Quays offers comfortable accommodation in 123 rooms boasting fantastic views and access to all that the region has to offer. The hotel is part of the Knysna Quays Waterfront and so close to shops, a variety of restaurants and pubs and nightlife options. Day 4

Today you will enjoy the Ferry, Nature Walk & Lunch (4 Hours)
Take the ferry to Knysna’s famous Featherbed Nature Reserve with its abundance of plant, bird and small wildlife, including the rare Blue duiker, and a variety of marine life from dolphins to seals and, in season, whales. Once ashore, the 2.2 kilometre trail winds its way through Milkwood Forests up to steep sandstone cliffs overlooking the wild Atlantic Ocean. It also meanders past ancient Khoi sea caves and through indigenous wilderness. On completion of the trail guests head to the restaurant set on the edge of the lagoon for a sumptuous buffet lunch.

After breakfast check out and proceed to the foyer where you will be met by your guide and continued to Oudtshoorn

Located overlooking the Schoemanshoek Valley and close to Oudtshoorn and myriad regional attractions, including the Cango Caves, Thorntree Country House offers discerning guests elegant accommodation in a historic and beautifully renovated farmhouse. Stellenbosch Hotel is arguably the best situated hotel in the historic town of Stellenbosch. It is within close walking distance to coffee shops, bars, museums, art galleries and a variety of restaurants ranging from take-out to fine dining establishments. The hotel was built on land granted by Governor Simon van der Stel between 1692 and 1701. The building was restored in 1987 and has been declared a National Monument. The Commodore Hotel is an iconic hotel in the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town. It’s in the centre of all of the city’s greatest highlights including the famous Table Mountain cable car. The interior of the Commodore Hotel is a nautical theme that can be seen throughout and is somewhat fitting being in close proximity to the harbour and the Atlantic Ocean. The Clipper is the restaurant at the Commodore Hotel and it serves fresh seafood as well as a mixture of both local and international cuisine, all with South African flare. There is a beautiful terrace in a courtyard with a fishpond water feature.

Explore South Africa’s exciting ‘Mother City’ on this guided tour of the historical and cultural sights of Cape Town. You will step into the rich history of the city passing by key historical monuments and places of interest, such as the impressive Castle of Good Hope and Cape Town City Hall. The tour stops at the beautiful St. George’s Cathedral, passes the through the lush Company Gardens, and explores a cultural hub of Cape Town, the Bo-Kaap, also known as the Cape Malay quarter. The award winning Victoria Falls Safari Lodge is high on a plateau that forms a natural boundary to the unfenced Zambezi National Park and is close to the thunder of Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe’s star attraction. The lodge itself has been designed in a way to give the impression of a vast open-plan tree house and it is built on seven intricate levels, rising above the bushveld. Step into the romance of Africa on this two-hour cruise down the Zambezi River complemented by the sinking sun and host of on-board amenities. Day 11

Tour of the Falls (incl Park Fees) & transfers
A guided tour of the majestic Victoria Falls and encompassing nature reserves is an awe-inspiring experience. Known locally as Mosi-oa-Tunya (the smoke that thunders), tons of water plunge over a chasm that is nearly 2km wide falling just more than 100m to the Zambezi River below. The shower of spray and the thunderous sound of the water can be heard from miles around. The tour takes you to the best view points of this iconic waterfall, one of the seven wonders of the world, allowing you to soak up the powerful and enigmatic atmosphere of Victoria Falls.

After breakfast check out and proceed to the foyer of the lodge where you will be met and transferred to Victoria Falls Airport for your onward flight to Johannesburg and return to Australia.
